Cooperate in researching and developing large-scale urban projects and green transportation in Congo. The agreement marks an important step forward in Vietnam - Congo relations, both towards sustainable development and improving the quality of life of the people.
According to the MOU, the two sides will coordinate in researching and developing a riverside urban project on a land area of about 6,300 hectares, converting more than 300,000 gasoline vehicles to electric vehicles; establishing an electric bus system and charging station infrastructure.
The metropolis project has a strategic position in the planning of the capital expansion, located between the southern bank of the Congo River and the north of N'djii International Airport. The complex project, large scale including houses, villas, apartments, hospitals, schools, shopping malls, hotels, entertainment areas, along with government agencies and ministries in the future.

The goal of the project is to develop a modern urban center that contributes to improving the quality of life, changing the face of the city, and becoming a new tourist destination as well as a new development symbol of Kinshasa. The project will be allocated free land by the city to Vingroup.
In addition to the real estate sector, the two sides also agreed to expand cooperation in green transport projects, including the development of electric bus systems, electric taxis and charging station infrastructure operated by VinFast and GSM.
In particular, VinFast will provide vehicles suitable for the plan to gradually replace more than 300,000 vehicles using fossil fuels with Kinshasa electric vehicles, and at the same time research and provide VinFast electric buses, supporting the construction and operation of the express bus route (BRT). Kinshasa is committed to providing land to build charging station infrastructure, in order to promote the green transformation process for the entire urban area.
