Bringing quality healthcare services closer to people
On June 28, DHG Pharma in coordination with Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Health, Ninh Binh Provincial Youth Union, Ninh Binh Provincial Young Doctors Club, Nho Quan General Hospital, Phu Long Commune People's Committee, AloBacsi and Daisy Media organized a community health care program in Phu Long commune (Ninh Binh).
More than 40 doctors, nurses and pharmacists from central-level hospitals brought mobile medical examination and treatment systems with X-ray vehicles, ultrasound machines, electrocardiograms and modern testing equipment. In just one day, nearly 1,300 people were examined, consulted and given free medicine; nearly 200 ultrasounds, more than 100 X-rays and hundreds of electrocardiograms were performed right in the locality.
To serve the program, DHG Pharma prepared nearly 50 essential medicines that meet international standards, meeting many common disease groups. Thanks to that, people are examined, receive medicine and receive full advice right at their place of residence, saving time, costs and reducing difficulties in accessing medical services.
Health check-ups are not only for treatment but also for early detection.
Through examination, the team of doctors and nurses recorded many cases of musculoskeletal diseases, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease and diabetes but have not been monitored and treated regularly. Through ultrasound and electrocardiogram, many cases with abnormal signs were also detected in time, including 3 dangerous episiotopic cases and many people at risk of recurrent stroke due to blood pressure not being effectively controlled.
According to MSc.BS Nguyen Van Binh, Director of the Center for Scientific and Technical Services and Health, National Institute for Inspection of Vaccines and Medical Biologicals, periodic screening helps detect diseases early, improve treatment effectiveness and reduce healthcare costs.
