At 1:16 am on September 2nd, Dong Nai Power Company and related units successfully energized the construction of the 110kV 4-circuit transition line section on the Long Thanh - Nhon Trach 5, Long Thanh - Hyosung power lines, contributing to strengthening the power grid connection and improving the reliability of power supply in the Nhon Trach - Long Thanh area.
The project is being implemented in Nhon Trach ward, Dong Nai city, invested by Dong Nai Power Company, with a total investment of over 15 billion VND.
This is a project of significance in completing and enhancing the flexible operation of the 110kV power grid in the Nhon Trach - Long Thanh area.

According to the design, the project has a 110kV power line scale including 4 circuits, of which 50m of a new 4-circuit power line is built and 260m of the existing line section is adjusted.
The project is connected from the 220kV substation of Nhon Trach Industrial Park, implementing transfer connections to the 110kV Long Thanh - Nhon Trach 5 and Long Thanh - Hyosung power lines. According to the approved dossier, the connection point is located in the area around piers T20, T21 of the existing 110kV power line.
The completion and commissioning of the project creates additional links on the 110kV grid in the Nhon Trach - Long Thanh area, thereby increasing the transfer capacity between areas and enhancing flexibility in grid operation methods.
In particular, the project contributes to ensuring safe and continuous power supply; reducing power loss, improving voltage quality and meeting N-1 criteria. These are important factors to improve power supply reliability, meet the development needs of load and serve production and business activities in the area.

Mr. Nguyen Hai Dang, a worker managing the operation of high-voltage power grid lines at Dong Nai Power Company, said: "Although during the September 2nd holiday, to complete the project on schedule, we always encourage each other to overcome difficulties, overcome difficulties in sunny, rainy, windy weather, working day and night. In addition, we are also encouraged by the company's trade union to visit and give gifts to ensure workers' health and safety during construction. We feel very happy that the project is completed on schedule on the September 2nd holiday.
Putting the project into operation also contributes to strengthening the power supply capacity for areas with high industrial and urban development rates, while creating conditions for the electricity industry to be more proactive in operating, allocating and transferring capacity on the 110kV grid, especially in situations where it is necessary to change operating methods or handle incidents.
The project is one of the solutions to continue to improve the power grid, improve the quality of electricity supply services and ensure stable and safe electricity supply for customers in Dong Nai.
