EVNHCMC said that according to the plan of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2026), the city will organize 7 fireworks locations. The city also organizes the inauguration ceremony and commencement of many projects to celebrate the 81st anniversary of National Day in the Ho Chi Minh City branch of the Museum.
Along with that are exhibition, anniversary and art programs serving the people; activities of offering incense, flowers, lighting candles of gratitude and commemoration at historical sites, martyrs' cemeteries, and monuments in the managed area.
To prepare for this special occasion, a month earlier, EVNHCMC had issued a document directing units to ensure safe, stable, and reliable power supply to serve commemorative activities in Ho Chi Minh City. Accordingly, the city's electricity sector has thoroughly grasped to each official and employee the importance of ensuring electricity for this important political event. EVNHCMC's directing document requires units to absolutely not be subjective and not to make mistakes in the process of implementing power supply assurance.
Regional Power Companies and High Voltage Power Grid Companies strengthen inspection, detection and timely handling of defects in power source and grid equipment. Corridors of power lines need to be cleared to ensure grid safety, and at the same time promote propaganda and raise people's awareness of grid safety corridors and stability for holidays.

The above-mentioned units are required by EVNHCMC to develop plans to ensure power supply during the National Day holiday and organize drills at the locations of meetings, event parades, and festivals in the managed area. In particular, from 0:00 on August 29 to 24:00 on September 2, 2026, units will not perform operations on the grid causing power outages to customers during the holiday, except in cases of incidents or other special requests.
Power Companies proactively coordinate with local authorities to strengthen security measures for power projects; review, develop and implement security, safety, fire and explosion prevention plans for power projects and propagate to prevent cases of violating the corridor of power lines. These units must ensure safe and stable power supply for areas where events take place.
The Power System Dispatch Center, in addition to performing professional functions, must closely coordinate with the High Voltage Power Grid Company and Power Companies to ensure priority power supply for events. Meanwhile, companies directly under EVNHCMC organize the arrangement of operating forces and increase personnel on duty at key stations (if necessary); prepare forces, materials, vehicles, and equipment to promptly handle incidents arising during the event.
Implementing the direction of EVNHCMC, units have now prepared plans to ensure stable, safe, and reliable power supply to serve the National Day celebration on September 2.
