On the evening of June 22, at the Commendation Ceremony organized by the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations in Hanoi, EVNHCMC was awarded in category 2: Top Organization/Enterprise/Science & Technology for innovation and digital transformation, recognizing the unit's pioneering and effective efforts in the digital transformation journey, applying modern technology and improving the quality of customer service.
Also in the program, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh - General Director of EVNHCMC - was honored in Category 5: Pioneer leader/businessman of innovation, creativity and digital transformation in the era of national growth. This is a recognition of the strategic orientation role and leadership capacity in the comprehensive innovation of the Corporation.
On behalf of the Corporation's leadership, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nha - Deputy General Director of EVNHCMC - attended and received the award at the ceremony. Mr. Nha shared: EVNHCMC identifies digital transformation as not only a trend but an inevitable requirement to improve operational efficiency and serve customers better and better. This title is a motivation for the collective of cadres and employees of EVNHCMC to continue to innovate, create and develop for a sustainable energy future.
With the orientation of "Digital enterprises, digital services", EVNHCMC has synchronously deployed many solutions: Providing 100% of online services via website, national public service portal, Ho Chi Minh City public service portal and EVNHCMC App application; completing the implementation of electronic electronic electronic electronic electronic services (OTP and digital signature); over 80% of customer service requests are received and processed automatically via AI tools ( Chatbot, call box...) to help reduce waiting time, customers receive quick and timely feedback information.
EVNHCMC is also the first unit in the industry to complete the replacement of 100% of electronic meters with the function of collecting data remotely, helping customers via the EVNHCMC App to track daily electricity consumption, approximately 100% of customers pay electricity bills without cash.
At the same time, pioneering in promoting the application of advanced technologies of the world electricity industry such as: new materials technology; real-time monitoring technology of electrical equipment operations; specialized and modern construction and repair equipment and means; improving tools, tools, and equipment for workers repairing and constructing the power grid; researching and producing mobile power generation models...
At the end of 2022, EVNHCMC will be the first enterprise in the country to be certified by the Ministry of Information and Communications to form a digital enterprise. By 2024, EVNHCMC has achieved an advanced level of digital transformation (level 4/5).
The 4th Top Industry 4.0 Vietnam Award in 2025 is a timely and worthy recognition for EVNHCMC, a unit that always strives to innovate for the benefit of the community and the sustainable development of the Vietnamese electricity industry in the digital transformation period.
