EVNHCMC said that EVNHCMC has been preparing to supply electricity for activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification since the beginning of the year. The preparation is not only a plan and diagram for power supply, but also a detailed "acting scenario" with many layers of contingency, incident handling scenarios and cross-sectoral coordination drills.

"There is no place for negligence during this special occasion. Each power station and connection point must be carefully inspected many times, practicing the worst possible situation and saving at least two layers, Mr. Luan Quoc Hung - Deputy General Director of EVNHCMC - often reminded during construction progress checks at the construction site.
In addition to 100% of Saigon Power Company's soldiers on duty to serve the celebration, parade, and parade, there are about 50 others on duty to command, control center and power station. About 125 electricity industry officials have been mobilized to be on duty at important locations in the city.
EVNHCMC also coordinates with local authorities to protect security at key power stations, creating a solid shield for the power system. Thanks to that, it will help more than 50 sound and lighting systems, 21 large screens to serve the parade, along with thousands of hotels, restaurants and millions of households in Ho Chi Minh City, all be provided with stable and continuous electricity.
In addition, the drastic participation of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) is an important fulcrum for EVNHCMC. The working group led by Mr. Ngo Son Hai - Deputy General Director of EVN - has twice directly visited Ho Chi Minh City to inspect the work of ensuring electricity at hot spots.

Each inspection is not only a supervision, but also a reminder, inspiration, and added "fighting readiness" spirit for the team of leaders, engineers, and workers of EVNHCMC. Continuous meetings between EVN - EVNHCMC, between EVNHCMC and affiliated units have created a flow of responsibility, discipline and the spirit of "for the Fatherland, for the People".
All of these efforts have resulted in no power outages throughout the event chain.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh - General Director of EVNHCMC - shared: "This is the result of smooth coordination, responsible and disciplined working spirit, especially the proactiveness and determination in the direction of EVN, the Party Committee, the Board of Directors and the consensus of all EVNHCMC employees".
