The world-class Expo city has taken shape
Right from the time of the initial idea and sketch on paper, the Vietnam Exhibition Center was shaped as a key project, creating a modern, "huge" economic, cultural, sports and tourism complex. The project contributes to the formation of an iconic "irshan exhibition city in the capital", and is also an ideal destination for a series of international events and a space to promote exchanges, trade promotion, and connect domestic and foreign enterprises.

After nearly 10 months of construction and a total capital of more than 7,000 billion VND, the exhibition complex has taken shape on Tu Lien bridge (Dong Anh, Hanoi), establishing the largest Exhibition Center in Southeast Asia and Top 10 in the world.
The special thing about the Vietnam Exhibition Center is its "Vietnamese" throughout, from the location of Co Loa - the sacred land associated with the legend of the Golden Golden Eagle, recalling the heroic history of the nation, to the highlight of being the largest circular exhibition house on the planet (more than 104,000 m2), depicting the image of the god Golden Eagle - one of the four sacred animals according to Eastern culture.

Here, 9 large halls are arranged in continuous space, with an area of 9,419 m2/0,478 m2. The floor load in this area is up to 5 tons/m2, meeting the requirements of industrial exhibitions, ensuring conditions for displaying large equipment and machinery.
In addition to the Golden Eagle Round House, the complex impresses with four outdoor exhibition areas of over 200,000 m2 - the top 3 in the world in scale, specializing in organizing major events and festivals, super-heavy exhibition halls. In which, Bac Stadium has an area of 46,199 m2, enough capacity to accommodate 50,000 people, with suitable infrastructure conditions to organize world-class "super concerts". Similarly, Nam Stadium is 45,704 m2, Tay Stadium is 43,251 m2 and Dong Stadium is over 41,531 m2... completely capable of being a destination for grand events.

The Vietnam Exhibition Center also arranges many specialized functional subdivisions, ensuring in-depth meeting different needs of services, typically the A-B Block Exhibition House, VinPalace Conference Center, especially 5 separate outdoor parking areas...
Space worthy of a series of historical events celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day
From August 28 to September 5, the Vietnam Exhibition Center will host a National Achievement Exhibition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day. For the first time, ministries - Departments - Branches, 34 provinces and cities, more than 200 large enterprises will gather, creating a comprehensive picture of the glorious and emotional journey of the country. It is estimated that there are nearly 300 units participating in the national exhibition.

Currently, the preparation work has been completed. VEC is ready to welcome millions of visitors on this occasion. Specifically, the indoor exhibition area is divided into 6 topics related to the development journey including: Vietnam - State - People; 95 years of Party flags on the road; Creating and developing; Economic locomotive; Start-up for national construction; Rich province - Strong water.
The outdoor exhibition is divided into four areas with the theme: Rural Festival; Aspiration for the Sky - For a Green Future; The North-South Food Ship delegation; The Hoan Kiem and the Border Guard, along with music events, contribute to spreading unique cultural values and honoring national identity.
The highlight of the entire exhibition is a series of new experiences at each booth, from VR/AR virtual reality interaction, restoration - exhibition museum, unique interactive room, cultural and artistic program to enjoying specialties of the three regions. Each space not only introduces achievements, but also tells emotional stories, helping visitors clearly feel the changes and development of Vietnam over 8 decades.

With its location at the Northeast gateway, near Noi Bai airport, domestic and international tourists can conveniently travel to the VEC complex thanks to the road and aviation system or there will be an additional metro line connecting Dong Anh with the East of Hanoi. After Tu Lien Bridge is completed, the exhibition complex is only about 5 minutes away from Hoan Kiem and Tay Ho areas. This location also allows thousands of tons of exhibits, stage equipment and display materials to be transported quickly, significantly reducing logistics costs - a key factor for large-scale events.
Completing the Exhibition Center with a scale of Top 10 in the world in a record time, just nearly 10 months, shows Vingroup's determination to contribute to an international destination on par with Dubai (UAE), Frankfurt (Germany) or Fiera Milano (Italy), activating the Expo economy for the capital. The project lays the foundation for domestic and foreign enterprises to exchange, promote and advertise trade, thereby promoting the bringing of Vietnam to the world, while bringing the international to Vietnam.
Looking at the world, large-scale exhibitions have proven their strength: Expo 2010 Shanghai (China) attracted 73 million visitors, putting the city on the map of international events. Expo 2020 Dubai contributes more than 33 billion USD to the UAE economy, creating tens of thousands of jobs. Similarly, Milan Expo 2015 became a tourism boost, with strong growth in hotel and food revenue.
The new iconic destination of Hanoi is expected to welcome 60 million visitors/year coming to have fun, entertain, shop, enjoy culture, art and seek out, meet partners, promote global trade. These "explosions" will make the Vietnam Exhibition Center a "capital" of national and international cultural - entertainment - trade events.
