With the increasing demand for international tourism in Vietnam, especially from more than 100 million people, Taiwan (China) is currently Vietnam's 10th largest international tourist market, opening up many cooperation opportunities between the two countries.
The Smart Tourism Alliance led by KKday, with the support of the Department of Small and Medium Enterprises (Taiwan - China Ministry of Economy), has gathered tourism units from North to South Taiwan (China). This alliance launched special products, such as The Seven-day Journey Around Taiwan and separate service packages for Vietnamese tourists, to bring a convenient experience and imbued with cultural identity.
The participants had a meeting in Hanoi to exchange experiences and seek opportunities to develop smart tourism, build a complete supply chain from accommodation, cuisine to attractions.

The Alliance's "Smart Tourism" model applies digital technology such as AI to suggest journeys, electronic tickets, cross-border payments and multilingual customer care. These solutions make it easy for tourists to learn, book tours and pay online, while ensuring convenience and safety. Ambassador Luu The Trung, representative of the Taipei Cultural Economic Office in Vietnam, shared: Our goal is to create smart, safe and happy tourism, while promoting extensive cooperation between businesses of the two countries.
The event in Hanoi also marked an important step forward when KKday signed a memorandum of understanding with SeA Travel and Mustgo - leading prestigious tourism businesses in Vietnam. Along with that, KKday continues to connect Taiwanese (Chinese) enterprises with Vietnamese partners, expand B2C, B2B and B2B2C distribution channels, and increase access to international customers.

Ms. Nguyen Thao Anh, Executive Director of KKday Vietnam, emphasized: Smart Tourism Alliance will bring innovative and cross-border services, connecting more closely between Taiwanese (Chinese) suppliers and Vietnamese partners.

The cooperation between Taiwan (China) and Vietnam promises to continue to promote sustainable development and enhance the tourism experience for both markets in the future.
