Merging Sunshine Group: Strategic lever with more than 40 trillion VND in construction contract for the 2025-2026 period
In the recently published documents of the General Meeting of Shareholders, SCG set a revenue target of VND 12,000 billion in 2025, pre-tax profit of VND 700 billion, an increase of nearly 4 times compared to 2024.
According to SCG's leader, this record revenue is based on the foundation of construction contracts signed in the 2025-2026 period, with a total value of more than 40 trillion VND. If completed, SCG will be in the group of construction enterprises with the highest revenue and profit in Vietnam.
In parallel with ensuring revenue from construction contracts, SCG also promotes growth by merging into Sunshine Group, expected to submit to the General Meeting of Shareholders on April 13.
According to the plan, Sunshine Group will buy more than 45.1 million SCG shares (worth more than VND 3,340 billion), equivalent to 53.1% of charter capital, to become SCG's parent company. After the deal is completed, Sunshine Group and related parties will increase their total ownership in SCG to 67.8%.
With a sustainable development strategy, SCG aims to make the most of this opportunity to make a breakthrough, consolidating its position in the construction and real estate sector in Vietnam. The merger into Sunshine Group - a real estate group pioneering in applying AI technology - not only brings abundant financial resources but also helps SCG apply advanced technologies, especially AI in construction. This technology will support automation of construction site supervision, optimize raw material costs and improve construction quality, help manage project portfolios effectively, reduce risks, speed up progress and ensure the highest quality standards. At the same time, joining the Sunshine ecosystem will also expand SCG's network of customers, partners and project portfolio, creating strong growth momentum in revenue and profit.
This is also one of the strategic steps in the comprehensive restructuring roadmap of Sunshine Group that the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group - Mr. Do Anh Tuan initiated and directed the implementation with drastic and effective steps in the past time.
SCG is currently a general contractor for many key projects in the Sunshine Group ecosystem, with the total value of signed construction contracts and will be implemented in the 2025-2026 period of up to more than 40 trillion VND.
In 2025, SCG will focus on implementing a series of large-scale projects in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Most recently, the enterprise has started construction of two important projects: the road connecting the extended Hoang Quoc Viet road - a strategic traffic axis running through the Noble Palace Tay Thang Long urban area of Sunshine Group and the Sunshine Hospital International Hospital with a scale of nearly 80,000 m2 of construction floor, including 7 upper floors and 1 basement also in this area.
In addition, the company is also implementing other projects such as:
Noble Crystal Tay Ho WorldHotels Residence, Noble Palace Tay Ho, Noble Crystal Long Bien, Noble Palace Long Bien, Noble Palace Garden, Noble Palace Tay Thang Long... in Hanoi; Sunshine Sky City project, Sunshine Diamond River... in Ho Chi Minh City. In particular, many low-rise projects such as Noble Palace Tay Ho, Noble Palace Tay Thang Long, Noble Palace Long Bien... are expected to be handed over by SCG from the second to third quarter of this year.
