According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, the project to build a park and a regulating lake at planning block G.4/CXKO1 of Thach Ban Ward (Long Bien District, Hanoi) is being implemented by the contractor for the first items.
Currently, the contractor is focusing on personnel to construct the embankment around the regulating lake. Many machines such as bulldozers and excavators were dispatched to the construction site to perform the task.



Ms. Le Thi Hanh (Thach Ban ward, Long Bien district) shared that the park and lake projects, when completed, will help improve the living environment, bringing cleaner air to the people.
"I really look forward to the lake park project being completed soon and put into use for people to enjoy" - Ms. Hanh said.
Similarly, Mr. Nguyen Van Bao (60 years old, Thach Ban ward, Long Bien district) also strongly supports the park and lake project being built in the area.
"The project not only beautifies the landscape but also helps people have more space for exercise and sports. This is a project worth looking forward to" - Mr. Bao said.



The project to build a park and a regulating lake at planning block G.4/CXKO1 of Thach Ban ward was approved by the People's Committee of Long Bien district in 2023, with a scale of about 20.52 hectares. Of which, the area of the regulating lake is about 13.82 hectares.
This is a group B project with a total investment of more than 276 billion VND, of which about 120 billion VND is for compensation and site clearance.
The project will build items such as a regulating lake, a service house; a main fountain and a fountain to clean the lake surface; a bridge to Dang Dong c branch; a half-time bridge; a viewing area on the lake; a resting hut, a stopping point...

According to the People's Committee of Long Bien District, the project is expected to create urban landscape, solve entertainment needs, diversify services, and improve living conditions for people in the area after completion. At the same time, ensure environmental sanitation and sustainable urban development.
According to the plan, the project will also renovate Thach Ban cemetery according to its current status, create a landscape, and prevent environmental pollution during the waiting period for relocation of inner-city cemeteries in Hanoi.
The list of works and projects included in the 2025 Land Use Plan of Long Bien District includes 152 projects with a total area of 651.03 hectares.
Including 3 park construction projects: Construction of parks and lakes in planning block A.4/CXKO of Thuong Thanh ward (area of 6 hectares); construction of parks and lakes in planning block G.4/CXKO1 of Thach Ban ward (area of 22.3 hectares); construction of parks and lakes in planning block A.3/CXKO of Ngoc Thuy ward and Thuong Thanh ward (area of 7 hectares).
