Xuan Thien Binh Hoa Binh Light Lime and Light Powder Project has a total investment of more than VND 8,000 billion, including the factory item with a total capacity of 2.16 million tons/year and Boi river port with a capacity of 8.2 million tons/year, built on a total area of 158.4 ha in Yen Bong commune, Lac Thuy district, Hoa Binh province. The project is adjacent to Quen Coc and Boi river quarry, in the process of construction and operation, the use of waterway traffic is the mainstream, so it is very convenient in importing and exporting products, without causing pollution, helping to preserve the green environment in the area.
According to the plan, phase 1 of the project with a total investment of nearly VND 3,500 billion, capacity of 760 thousand tons/year, will be inaugurated in July 2026 and the entire project will be completed in July 2027.
Industrial lime and light powder factories are essential materials, widely used in metal processing, environmental treatment, chemicals, paint, paper, plastic, rubber, etc. High-quality light powder products are also used in industries such as food, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics with strict requirements, costing up to thousands of USD/ton. Each year, the world market demands hundreds of millions of tons of lime and light powder, worth about 7 billion USD and tending to increase.
In particular, the investment in the lime and light powder factory is a synchronous preparation, proactively supplying about 1.5 million tons of input materials per year to the Xuan Thien Green Steel Production Complex in Nam Dinh and Chan May Economic Zone in Hue.
The Xuan Thien Hoa Binh Lime and Light Flour Factory project will contribute hundreds of billions of VND to the Hoa Binh provincial budget. In particular, the Group has a policy of prioritizing the use of local labor, creating jobs for thousands of workers, contributing to poverty reduction and improving people's lives. This is a responsible strategic step, marking Xuan Thien's strong presence in Hoa Binh province, creating an important premise for the Group to continue implementing large-scale cement projects and high-tech agricultural production in the province in the coming time.
Xuan Thien Hoa Binh Lime and Light powder Factory is the starting project, laying the foundation for a series of large-scale investment projects of the Group in Hoa Binh, with a total capital of up to VND100,000 billion, including: Xuan Thien Hoa Binh Cement Factory with a capacity of 10 million tons/year and a complex of high-tech agricultural production projects, high-quality pig farming on many floors with a scale of 3.5 million pigs/year.
When this series of projects is completed synchronously, it will create a new development space, strongly promoting the process of diversifying the economic structure of the province, contributing to realizing the goal of making Hoa Binh province a developed province in the region and the whole country," said Mr. Nguyen Huy Hoang, General Director of Xuan Thien Hoa Binh at the groundbreaking ceremony.
