On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 2025), the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union held a signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with the National Payment Corporation of Vietnam (NAPAS), Mastercard and the Payoo payment platform to implement the social security program "Touching, Sharing, Giving Hope 2025", and at the same time opening a long-term cooperation orientation for the period 2025 - 2030 between the Union and businesses in the field of health care, improving women's capacity and promoting sustainable development.
The signing marks the beginning of a series of comprehensive cooperation activities between the Association and the business sector, aiming to apply payment technology in community initiatives, especially health care for disadvantaged women. In 2025, the program "Touching and Sharing, Giving Hope" will be a key activity, opening a long-term cooperation strategy, contributing to spreading the spirit of sharing, promoting gender equality and building a healthy and happy community.

Speaking at the Program, President of the Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Tuyen said: According to statistics from the health sector, each year Vietnam records tens of thousands of new cancers, in which the rate of women with breast cancer and cervical cancer is high and tends to be younger. Therefore, early cancer screening is not only a medical measure, it is a way to express deep concern, an act of humanistic sharing for women, especially those who are disadvantaged and still face difficulties in life.
Therefore, the program "Touching, Sharing, Giving Hope 2025" is implemented with the goal of taking care of the health of women in difficult circumstances through free screening for common cancers in women such as breast cancer, cervical cancer, ovarian cancer and HPV testing.
It is expected that in 2025, the program will support 2,010 women from other provinces living and working in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to be screened for free, contributing to raising awareness of early cancer prevention and encouraging women to be more proactive in taking care of their health.

To ensure the program is implemented effectively and to the right target, the Vietnam Women's Union plays a core role in coordinating with localities such as Hanoi, management boards of industrial parks and export processing zones in Hanoi, Hung Yen, Bac Ninh to verify and make a list of women in difficult circumstances, and at the same time coordinate with health units to organize screening and propaganda to raise public awareness of cancer prevention, as well as monitor the quality of screening. The Association's leading role not only ensures the transparency and effectiveness of the program, but also demonstrates the organization's strong commitment to caring for the lives, health and happiness of Vietnamese women.
In addition, NAPAS, Mastercard and Payoo organizations play an important role in spreading the humanistic value of the program. Through each card-touched payment transaction through Payoo's partner system, VND 2,010 will be contributed by NAPAS and Mastercard to cancer screening activities for women in difficult circumstances - a modern, accessible form, associated with people's daily consumption behavior.

Mr. Nguyen Dang Hung - Deputy General Director of Vietnam National Payment Joint Stock Company (NAPAS) - shared: Coming to the program "Touching, Sharing - Giving Hope" in 2025, we hope to be a bridge of love, helping to spread faith and hope to women who need support, health care and added vitality. Thereby, NAPAS and its partners together continue the success of "Touching and Sharing - Giving Hope" to give mothers and sisters meaningful gifts, especially on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day.

Participating in and receiving the 2024 support package, Ms. Vu Thi Hang (Dai Xuyen - Hanoi) thanked the program and shared: "Due to a difficult life and low income, I, like many other disadvantaged women, do not have the conditions to have regular health check-ups, so the program "Sharing and giving hope" not only brings opportunities for screening and medical examination for women but also raises awareness of protecting women's health."
