Vindynamics cooperates with Schaeffler Group to develop humanoid robots

VinDynamics, a technology company belonging to Vingroup, signed an MOU with Schaeffler, the world's leading mobile technology group, headquartered in Germany.

The signing aims to promote research and development cooperation for core components for humanoid robots, towards future commercial agreements. The event marks an important step forward in VinDynamics' robot development strategy, while opening up the potential to accelerate innovation and expand technology cooperation between the two businesses globally.

According to the agreement, VinDynamics and Schaeffler will coordinate research, development and optimization of core components serving humanoid robots, including robot actuators and engines. The two sides will focus on evaluating and perfecting Schaeffler-developed prototypes, with technical parameters on mechanics, gearboxes and hardware, while considering important factors such as materials, yield and large-scale production capacity.

In addition, VinDynamics will conduct technical evaluation and optimize control software to ensure compatibility and effective integration with proposed systems. The two sides will also share relevant technical information and best practices in the development process, complying with agreed security principles. After the product put into commercial operation phase, the two sides plan to continue to coordinate in product simulation, verification and improvement, and at the same time exploit actual operating data to optimally serve design and improve system performance.

The cooperation between VinDynamics and Schaeffler is expected to create new breakthroughs in the field of humanoid robots, especially in shortening the research and development time of highly complex parts such as robot actuators and engine systems. With Schaeffler's extensive experience and global prestige in motion technology, combined with VinDynamics' research, design and robot system integration capabilities, this cooperation is considered an important foundation to promote new technology standards in the future.
