The event of awarding the First Class Labor Medal to Vingroup Corporation is part of the Encouragement Ceremony and Starting of projects and works to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) - at the inauguration bridge of the National Exhibition Center, Tu Lien bridge area, Dong Anh, Hanoi - taking place today, August 19.
The National Exhibition Center is a key State-level project, in the top 10 largest exhibition centers in the world. The project has a total scale of up to 900,000 m2, expected to be an international destination for leading global commercial events and exhibitions and a new development symbol of the capital.
The project started on August 30, 2024, handing over the site on June 27, 2025 - after nearly 10 months of construction, 15 months ahead of schedule. This is an unprecedentedly rapid construction progress in challenging conditions in terms of construction techniques as well as the difficulty of the giant arch structure made of super-high and super-heavy steel.
Vingroup, as the investor and general contractor for the construction, has focused all resources, from proactively developing design plans, coordinating human resources, machinery, and materials to ensuring the supply chain and connecting contractors.
Specifically, during the construction period, Vingroup mobilized hundreds of contractors, at the peak of the project there were about 3,000 workers and engineers working; with 800 - 1,000 machines and equipment mobilized from many localities, including large-load cranes from 300 - 500 tons, super heavy school vehicles...
In parallel with harmoniously solving challenges between complex designs, large structures and completion progress, Vingroup always closely follows each item, strictly inspects and supervises to ensure safety, quality and sustainability of the project.

The National Exhibition Center is an exhibition complex with the largest scale and stature in the world. In particular, the focus is Kim Quy exhibition - the world's largest circular exhibition with an area of about 130,000 m2, the central area is up to 56m high.
One of the special motivations to promote the construction miracle of the National Exhibition Center is the National Achievements Exhibition - 80 years of independence - freedom - Happiness, recreating the country's development journey of nearly a century, which will take place from August 28, 2025 to September 5, 2025. This is the first time that all provinces, cities, ministries - departments - branches and businesses of all sectors across the country have gathered in a national exhibition, expected to attract millions of visitors to visit and together arouse national pride.
