At the recent Gala Car Awards 2024, VinFast VF 7 was honored as "Car of the Year" in the C-size crossover segment. VinFast VF 7's score of 312.85 far surpassed the two competing models in the same segment, Hyundai Tucson with 300.6 points and Lynk & Co 01 (299.54 points).
This is a result that has received the approval of many users as well as experts. Previously, to test the capabilities of the VF 7, the Car Awards 2024 jury drove the C-SUV on a 500km journey on the Hanoi - Moc Chau (Son La) route. This journey required the VF 7 to conquer many road conditions, from inner-city roads to provincial roads, highways, steep mountain passes and even sand tracks.
The VF 7s tested by Car Awards experts are equipped with two electric motors for a total output of 349 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. These parameters are comparable to high-performance sports cars. The 4-wheel drive system helps the car stay stable in corners.
About 80 km of continuous steep passes on the route from Mai Chau (Hoa Binh) to Moc Chau (Son La) made experts clearly see that advantage. The sporty personality of VF 7 is clearly shown when accelerating, overtaking trucks "without delay" on steep passes and the precise feeling of the steering wheel when cornering. Even when taking VF 7 offroad on the tea hills in Moc Chau, the car still encountered no obstacles thanks to the engine's great pulling power.
When driving the VF 7 in an experience program, Mr. Chu Huu Tho - one of the Car Awards jury members - said that the car brings a smooth feeling thanks to the suspension system working very well. Even when steering hard, the car with a pulling force of up to 500 Nm still does not pull the steering wheel. The strength and flexibility make the VF 7 like a real sports crossover.

According to Car Awards experts, technology is the strength that puts the VF 7 on the "top" compared to cars in the same segment. Right from the cabin, this model shows its futuristic style thanks to the 12.9-inch central screen, HUD on the windshield or the modern gearshift pad, unique in the segment.
An integrated virtual assistant is always ready to respond to requests from drivers and passengers.
On highways and expressways, the VF 7 also brings peace of mind to experts thanks to a series of advanced driving assistance features. The ADAS safety package provides adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic warning...

Finally, the sporty, futuristic design is what convinces experts and the community. According to Mr. Nguyen Manh Thang, a member of the Car Awards jury, VF 7 is a car with a "golden ratio" with modern and attractive beauty from the hood, front of the car, body to the rear of the car.
The modern and futuristic look that Mr. Nguyen Manh Thang mentioned comes from the design inspired by the aerospace industry. This design philosophy is called “Asymmetrical Universe”, created by Torino Design - a famous car design studio from Italy.
Also because of the above breakthroughs, previously, in October 2024, VinFast VF 7 received two awards at the same time: "Trend-leading car" and "Breakthrough design on modern cars" at the Better Choice Awards 2024 Gala night.
