VNPT HCMC accompanies HEPZA to promote industrial park digital transformation

VNPT Ho Chi Minh City, HEPZA and Vietcombank Tan Binh cooperate to develop digital infrastructure, digital finance, and promote digital transformation for businesses in export processing zones and industrial parks of Ho Chi Minh City

In the context of Ho Chi Minh City promoting the development of export processing zones (EPZs), industrial parks (IPs) in a green, smart and high-tech direction, VNPT Ho Chi Minh City and the Management Board of Export Processing and Industrial Zones of Ho Chi Minh City (HEPZA) and Vietcombank Tan Binh Branch have signed strategic cooperation agreements to promote digital transformation and build a digital infrastructure - digital platform - digital finance ecosystem.

Currently, HEPZA manages 67 EPZs and IPs, with about 5,300 investment projects, nearly 80 billion USD of investment capital and nearly 920,000 workers. This scale poses an urgent requirement for modernizing management, developing digital infrastructure and supporting businesses to apply technology.

According to the agreement, VNPT Ho Chi Minh City will coordinate with HEPZA to implement the digital transformation program for the period 2026–2030, focusing on developing digital infrastructure, digital data, operating platforms and information security solutions, and supporting businesses to apply technology in management, production and business. Vietcombank Tan Binh Branch will accompany and provide modern financial and banking solutions, contributing to completing the service ecosystem for businesses.

Representatives of VNPT HCMC affirmed that the unit will promote digital technology capacity to effectively implement cooperation contents with HEPZA and Vietcombank, contributing to the formation of smart industrial parks, improving the competitiveness of businesses and promoting sustainable development in HCMC.
