Crowded customers, taking order numbers to wait for transaction
According to PV's records, from early morning, the number of customers coming to silver shops on Tran Nhan Tong and Cau Giay streets (Hanoi) was quite large. To avoid congestion, many shops have applied the form of ordered number distribution, customers just need to take the number and sit and wait their turn instead of queuing as long as before.
A store employee said: "Currently, the number of customers is still very large, especially silver buyers who are stockpiling. However, we organize for customers to take order numbers, so transactions are orderly, no longer queuing from 4 am like in previous peak weeks.
Unlike the previous period, today many stores no longer have a limit on the amount of silver sold to each customer. Buyers can order quantities according to their needs. However, because the supply has not yet met the large order volume, customers still have to wait quite a long time to receive the silver.
At a store on Xa Dan street, Mr. Phan Van Anh (Cau Giay, Hanoi) shared: "I came to buy 3kg of silver, the store still received orders normally but announced that I had to wait about 70 days to have goods to deliver. I accept it because I bought it for long-term investment".
According to the store staff, customers who place orders today will have to pay 100% of the order value on the invoice and are promised to return the silver after about 70 days, depending on the progress of goods import. Customers who want to sell silver when they are not due to receive the goods can bring the paper to the store to transact, without encountering obstacles.
Buyers accept waiting to stockpile
Many people said that although the waiting time to receive silver is quite long, they are still willing to order because they consider silver as a safe accumulation channel in the context of strong fluctuations in precious metal prices.
Ms. Le Thu Trang (Gia Lam district, Hanoi) said: "I had bought silver before and also had to wait nearly 2 months to receive it. This time I bought 1kg more, the store promised about 70 days. Because I bought it for savings, I am not too worried about waiting.
According to observations, although the store is always crowded with customers, the transaction scene is more orderly than in the previous period. Organizing ordering and no longer having people have to come from dawn has helped the buying and selling activities take place more conveniently.
