Silver prices cool down, some take advantage of buying, others hesitate to sell

Mr. Tran Van Toan - a customer who came to buy silver at a gold and silver shop on Tran Nhan Tong street (Hanoi) - shared: "Today I came to buy silver, there were still many people coming to buy, but not too many as before. However, after payment, customers must wait until March 17, 2026 to return the goods".

Mr. Toan added that if customers only buy a small amount of silver, the store may return the goods immediately. "However, this depends on the type of silver customers want to buy, because some types are out of stock," said Mr. Toan.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai (Ngoc Ha ward, Hanoi) said that in October, she had come to buy silver many times because gold was difficult to buy.

"Today, domestic silver prices continue to decrease, so I took the opportunity to buy. Buying silver is quite simple, but because the number of customers ordering is too large, the store announced that it will return the goods next year" - Ms. Mai said.

Meanwhile, at a silver shop on Tran Nhan Tong street, Ms. Do Mai Linh (Dong Anh commune, Hanoi) hesitated to sell when the price of silver was falling.

"I have been buying silver since September this year. Up to now, they have made a profit. I wonder whether I should take profits right now, because silver prices are trending down. Maybe I will consider more" - Ms. Linh expressed.
