Gold bar prices increase, buyers still suffer losses
A week ago (February 26, 2025), the price of SJC gold bars was listed by Saigon Jewelry Company at VND89.2-91.5 million/tael (buy in - sell out).
DOJI Group listed at VND89.4-91.7 million/tael (buy - sell) and Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of SJC gold bars at VND89.7-91.7 million/tael (buy - sell).
As of today (March 5, 2025), the price of SJC gold bars was listed by Saigon Jewelry Company at 90.7-92.7 million VND/tael (buy in - sell out). DOJI Group listed at 90.7-92.7 million VND/tael (buy - sell)
Meanwhile, Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of SJC gold bars at 90.9-92.7 million VND/tael (buy in - sell out).
Thus, after a week, the price of gold bars at Saigon Jewelry Company SJC increased by 1.5 million VND/tael for buying and 1.2 million VND/tael for selling. The difference between buying and selling prices narrowed from 2.3 million VND to 2 million VND.
Gold price at DOJI Group increased by 1.3 million VND/tael for buying and 1 million VND/tael for selling. The difference between buying and selling prices decreased from 2.3 million VND to 2 million VND.
Meanwhile, at Bao Tin Minh Chau, the price of SJC gold bars increased by 1.2 million VND/tael for buying and 1 million VND/tael for selling. The difference between buying and selling prices also narrowed from 2 million VND/tael to 1.8 million VND/tael.
Although gold prices have increased, buyers still suffered losses after a week. The loss when buying at Saigon Jewelry Company SJC, DOJI Group and Bao Tin Minh Chau is 800,000 VND/tael, 1 million VND/tael and 800,000 VND/tael respectively.
Gold ring buyers break even after a week
A week ago (February 26, 2025), the price of Hung Thinh Vuong 9999 round gold rings at DOJI was listed at 90.7-91.7 million VND/tael (buy in - sell out). The difference between buying and selling is at 1 million VND/tael.
Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of gold rings at 90.3-91.8 million VND/tael (buy in - sell out). The difference between buying and selling is at 1.5 million VND/tael.
As of today (March 5, 2025), the price of Hung Thinh Vuong 9999 round gold rings at DOJI is listed at VND91.7-93 million/tael (buy - sell); increased by VND1 million/tael for buying and VND1.3 million/tael for selling. The difference between buying and selling prices is widened from 1 million VND to 1.3 million VND/tael.
Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of gold rings at 91.9-93.1 million VND/tael (buy - sell); an increase of 1.6 million VND/tael for buying and 1.3 million VND/tael for selling. The difference between buying and selling prices narrowed from 1.5 million VND to 1.2 million VND/tael.
Thus, after a week of buying gold rings, customers at DOJI Group broke even, while customers at Bao Tin Minh Chau lost 100,000 VND/tael.
