Sharing with reporters, Ms. Vu Thu Tra (Cau Giay ward) said that today, she plans to buy 2 taels of gold rings as long-term savings instead of keeping cash. "I don't buy for short-term speculation. Gold is still a channel to keep assets that makes me more secure in the current period. Now I am still waiting to buy" - Ms. Tra said.
Ms. Tra further shared that she has maintained the habit of buying gold for nearly 7 months, each time buying from 0.5 to 1 chi of gold rings.
Meanwhile, Mr. Do Trung Huy (freelancer, living in Nghia Do ward, Hanoi) just bought 3 taels of plain round gold rings after waiting for about 1 hour and was returned immediately.
He shared that he chooses to buy plain round gold rings instead of gold jewelry products because they can hold their price longer and can be sold after needing money without being deducted from the processing labor costs. Mr. Huy added that he often prioritizes buying gold rings in small quantities in batches.
This buying method helps me balance my finances more easily, instead of having to spend a large amount of money at the same time. I usually buy periodically whenever I have free money. Whether the price goes up or down, I don't put too much emphasis because I intend to keep it for many years" - Mr. Huy said.
Also at a gold shop on Cau Giay street, Ms. Nguyen Minh Anh (Cau Giay ward) said that she came to the store today because she followed the price list and found it quite stable. She said that her demand for buying gold originated from the goal of saving for the future, instead of expecting short-term "surfing" transactions to make profits.
Today the store is quite crowded, but because I have time, I still patiently wait to buy 1 tael of gold" - Ms. Minh Anh said.
