Increase flights from Van Don airport to Ho Chi Minh City

According to information from Van Don International Airport, starting from November 1, Vietjet Air will increase the frequency of flights from Van Don to Ho Chi Minh City by 1 more flight, up to 3 flights per week.

The airline will add flights every Friday, in addition to flights on Wednesday and Sunday. This increase in frequency is to meet the increasing travel demand of passengers during the peak season at the end of the year.

Currently, Van Don International Airport is operating the Van Don - Ho Chi Minh City route with a frequency of 6 flights/week operated by 2 airlines Vietjet Air and Vietnam Airlines. Since the beginning of 2024, Van Don International Airport has served 526 take-off and landing flights, transporting 76,000 passengers and 573 tons of cargo.
