3 cases not allowed to register for civil servant recruitment from July 2026

Clause 3, Article 19 of the 2025 Law on Civil Servants (effective from July 1, 2026) stipulates that the following people are not allowed to register for civil servant recruitment as follows:

a) Loss or limited civil act capacity; people who have difficulty in perceiving and controlling their actions;

b) Being prosecuted for criminal liability; being in compliance with or having completed the execution of a judgment or decision on criminal matters of the Court that has not been expunged from criminal record; being in compliance with administrative handling measures at a compulsory detoxification facility or a compulsory education facility;

c) Being in one of the cases not allowed to register for civil servant recruitment according to the provisions of law on professional activities.

Thus, from July 1, 2026, the above-mentioned cases will not be allowed to register for civil servant recruitment.
