Cases of kindergartens suspending enrollment and educational activities

Article 11, Decree 360/2026/ND-CP stipulates the conditions for investment and operation of preschool education institutions, general education institutions, continuing education institutions and other educational institutions under the national education system (effective from September 17, 2026), stipulates the cases of suspension of enrollment, suspension of educational activities for preschools as follows:

1. Kindergartens are suspended from enrollment when they fall into one of the following cases:

a) In the process of operation, not ensuring one of the conditions for licensing educational activities specified in Article 9 of this Decree;

b) Organizing educational activities in the wrong licensed location;

c) Violating the provisions of law to the extent that enrollment must be suspended.

2. Kindergartens are suspended from educational activities when they fall into one of the following cases:

a) Expired the admission suspension period as prescribed in Clause 1 of this Article without being able to remedy the cause leading to the suspension;

b) During the period of suspension of enrollment according to the provisions of Clause 1 of this Article, still intentionally organizing enrollment against regulations;

c) Violating legal regulations to the extent that educational activities must be suspended.

3. The deadline for suspending enrollment and suspending educational activities for kindergartens is specifically determined in the suspension decision but not exceeding 12 months.

Thus, from September 17, 2026, kindergartens will be suspended from enrollment and educational activities in the above cases.
