Reader with email thuthuyxxx@gmail. com asks: Please ask, what criteria are used to determine the performance of civil servant tasks?

Lawyer Ho Thu Trang, YouMe Law Company Limited answers:

Article 14 of Decree No. 335/2025/ND-CP stipulates the evaluation of criteria for the results of task performance for civil servants as follows:

1. The evaluation of the criteria for performance of tasks for civil servants is carried out on the basis of comparing the number of products/works completed (converted) with the number of products/works assigned (converted) monthly or quarterly.

2. Results of task performance through quantity, quality and progress of product/work:

a) Quantity: Determined by percentage points between the number of products/works completed (converted) and the number of products/works assigned (converted) under tasks in the month or quarter.

b) Quality: Determined by percentage points between the number of products/works completed that meet content quality requirements (converted) compared to the number of products/works assigned (converted) in the month or quarter. In case of major content errors affecting the quality of the product/work, each time the assessment is not achieved, 25% of the quality score of that product/work is deducted, except for errors due to objective reasons confirmed by competent authorities.

c) Progress: Determine by percentage points between the number of products/works completed that meet the progress or higher (converted) compared to the number of products/works assigned (converted) in the month or quarter. In case the progress is not ensured, for each delay, 25% of the progress score of that product/work is deducted, except for errors due to objective reasons confirmed by competent authorities.

Thus, the results of the performance of civil servant tasks will be determined through the quantity, quality and progress of products/works according to the above regulations.
