What tasks does the Emergency Response Team have from July 2026?

Article 8 of Decree 190/2026/ND-CP detailing a number of articles of the Law on Emergency Situations (effective from July 13, 2026) stipulates the emergency response team as follows:

1. Emergency response teams are established by Ministers and Chairmen of People's Committees at all levels from specialized and concurrent civil defense forces under their authority before declaring a state of emergency, operating under a concurrent regime to respond to and overcome a state of emergency.

2. Tasks of the Emergency Response Team

a) Collecting information on incidents and disasters in the assigned area; promptly detecting and notifying competent authorities; being ready to mobilize forces and means to respond, overcome consequences and prevent disasters from spreading; first aid, first aid, and emergency medical support for injured people;

b) Organize training and exercises to respond to and overcome emergencies;

c) Coordinate with other forces to implement the Order on promulgation and abolition of the state of emergency and perform other tasks under the direction, command, and administration of competent authorities.

Thus, from July 13, 2026, the emergency response team has the tasks according to the above regulations.
