Which households are supported to build houses and repair houses from October 2026?

Clause 4, Article 12, Decree 335/2026/ND-CP Regulating social assistance policies (effective from October 5, 2026) stipulates support for housing construction and housing repair as follows:

a) Poor households, near-poor households, households in difficult circumstances whose houses were completely collapsed, collapsed, drifted, or burned due to natural disasters, fires, or other force majeure reasons and no longer have a place to live, will be considered for housing cost support with a minimum level of 40,000,000 VND/household;

b) Households that must urgently relocate houses according to the decision of competent authorities due to the risk of landslides, floods, natural disasters, fires or other force majeure reasons are considered for support for housing relocation costs with a minimum level of 30,000,000 VND/household;

c) Poor households, near-poor households, households in difficult circumstances whose houses are heavily damaged due to natural disasters, fires or other force majeure reasons that they cannot live in, will be considered for support for housing repair costs with a minimum level of 20,000,000 VND/household.

Thus, from October 5, 2026, the above household will be supported to build houses and repair houses.
