Caregivers for pregnant women with disabilities are supported up to 1.08 million VND/month

Clause 2, Article 17, Decree 335/2026/ND-CP (effective from October 5, 2026) stipulates as follows: Support for monthly care and nurturing expenses is the lowest for each subject specified in Clause 6, Article 5 of this Decree equal to the standard social assistance level specified in Clause 2, Article 4 of this Decree multiplied by the corresponding coefficient according to the following regulations:

a) The level of monthly care support for people with particularly severe disabilities, people with severe disabilities who are pregnant or raising children under 36 months old is regulated as follows:

Coefficient 1.5 for people with particularly severe disabilities, people with severe disabilities who are pregnant or raising a child under 36 months old;

Coefficient 2.0 for people with particularly severe disabilities, people with severe disabilities who are pregnant and raising one child under 36 months old or raising two children under 36 months old or older;

In case people with disabilities are eligible for different coefficients specified in this point, they are only entitled to one highest coefficient;

In case both husband and wife are disabled and are eligible for monthly care allowance as prescribed in this point, they are only entitled to one care allowance;

Clause 2, Article 4, Decree 335/2026/ND-CP stipulates: The standard level of social assistance is 540,000 VND/month.

Thus, from October 5, 2026, the level of support will vary depending on whether the disabled person who is pregnant raises a young child or not.

If a person with particularly severe disabilities, a person with severe disabilities is only pregnant and does not raise young children, or a person with particularly severe disabilities, a person with severe disabilities only raises one child under 36 months old, the caregiver is entitled to a monthly support level of 810,000 VND (540,000 VND x 1.5).

If a person with particularly severe disabilities, a person with severe disabilities is pregnant and raising one child under 36 months old or raising two children under 36 months old or older, the caregiver will receive a monthly support level of 1,080,000 VND (540,000 VND x 2).
