Driving test in photos according to new regulations

The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Driving test is a short form of driving practice test according to the provisions of law.

Clause 2, Article 4, Circular 12/2025/TT-BCA regulating the testing and granting of driving licenses; granting and using international driving licenses (effective from March 1, 2025) stipulates the testing of driving practice in the following form:

a) For classes A1 and A

The test is conducted by direct scoring method combined with automatic scoring device, except for the case specified in Clause 2, Article 5 of this Circular. The test taker must drive a motorbike through 04 testtakers: follow the figure 8, cross a straight line, cross a road with a barrier line, cross a rough road;

b) For class B1

Conducting the test using the direct scoring method, the test taker does not sit on the test vehicle. The test taker must drive the vehicle in the shape of an x-xes and reverse direction;

c) For classes B, C1, C, D1, D2, D

Conducting the test using an automatic scoring device; no test takers are on the test vehicle, except for the cases specified in Point a, Clause 2, Article 13 of this Circular.

The examiner must control the car through the tests arranged at the driving test center, including: starting, stopping the car to give way to pedestrians, stop and depart for the car, through wheel streaks and perpendicular circle, through the intersection with traffic control signals, through winding loops, transplanting cars into parking (Grade B and C1 to carry out vertical car grafting; class B, C, C, D1, D1, D2, D1, D2, D1, D2, D1, D1 Through, operating when encountering dangerous situations, changing numbers on the road equal, ending;

d) For BE, D1E, D2E, DE classes

Carrying out the test by direct scoring method, the test does not sit on the test vehicle. The tester drives the car through the test: proceeds with the picture with 05 standard piles and returns;

d) For classes C1E, CE

Carrying out the test by direct scoring method, the test does not sit on the test vehicle. The tester drives the car through 02 tests: Progress through the picture with 05 standard piles and return; Put the car along the parking place.

Thus, the test for drivers in the picture from March 1, 2025 is regulated as above.
