Point a, Clause 3, Article 4 of Decree 188/2026/ND-CP (effective from July 15, 2026) Regulating policies for boarding general education schools and boarding general education schools in land border communes as follows:
3. In addition to the funds allocated for regular activities according to regulations applicable to general schools in the same commune approved by competent authorities, boarding general schools are also allocated funds to perform the tasks of specialized schools as follows:
a) Funds for organizing annual health check-ups for students, establishing common medicine cabinets, and purchasing common medicines. The funds are allocated at the same policy level for ethnic minority boarding schools as stipulated in Decree No. 66/2025/ND-CP dated March 12, 2025 of the Government stipulating policies for nursery children, students in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, coastal and island areas and educational institutions with nursery children and students enjoying policies;
Thus, from July 15, 2026, in addition to regular funding, boarding schools are allocated funds to organize annual health check-ups for students according to the above regulations.
