Handling violations of candidates taking the civil servant and public employee recruitment exam

The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Clause 1, Article 2 of the Internal Regulations on recruitment of civil servants and public employees, civil servant promotion exams issued with Circular No. 001/2025/TT-BNV of the Minister of Home Affairs (effective from May 1, 2025) stipulates the forms of handling violations against candidates who violate internal regulations and exam regulations as follows:

a) Reprimand.

b) Warning.

c) Exam fee.

d) Cancel the exam results.

Clause 5, Article 2 of Circular No. 001/2025/TT-BNV stipulates the application of the form of canceling exam results for candidates who violate one of the following cases:

a) Record and draw content unrelated to the content of the exam on your or other candidate's exam paper.

b) One of the following acts: Breaking up work assignments, doing household chores of other candidates, letting other candidates do household chores, taking household chores.

c) Suspended from taking the exam as prescribed in Clause 4 of this Article.

Thus, the handling of violations against candidates taking the civil servant and public employee recruitment exam and canceling the exam results is regulated as above.
