On the afternoon of August 1, nearly 600 MCer students in grade 10 officially enrolled and prepared for the new school year 2025 - 2026 at Marie Curie Secondary and High School - Long Bien (Hanoi).
On the first day of school, students were given the regulations, received classes and got to know teachers and friends. Some students are still confused by the new learning environment, but the supportive atmosphere from teachers and students of the above course helps the admission process go smoothly. This is the beginning of the new school year.


Sharing at the 10th grade student welcoming ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi Nhung - Principal of Marie Curie Long Bien Secondary and High School - said: "I really appreciate the trust that parents and students have given to the school when choosing Marie Curie Long Bien - a school that has just entered its second year of operation. Welcoming nearly 600 10th grade students this year is something that I am moved and appreciated for.
According to her, what the school hopes for most is that students coming to Marie Curie Long Bien will feel happy and joyful. They will study, practice, and develop skills in a friendly and positive environment.
"For grade 10 students - students who have just entered high school - the school focuses on equipping them with both knowledge and skills. In addition to the study program prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training, students will study according to the school's traditional combinations, in accordance with their career orientation and university choice in the future" - Ms. Nhung added.
At school, students also participate in extracurricular activities such as dance clubs, singing, painting, football, basketball... along with classes to practice listening and speaking English skills.
According to Ms. Nhung, learning and developing skills always have to go hand in hand, because in today's society, in addition to knowledge, soft skills play a very important role so that students can be more confident and more confident in the future.


Sharing her feelings on the first day of taking classes, Tran Le Kieu Ngan - the female student who passed the 10th grade of Marie Curie Long Bien Secondary and High School - said that she felt very excited and assured when starting the new school year.
In the early stages of high school, Kieu Ngan set a goal of maintaining her academic performance, while actively participating in extracurricular activities such as arts and sports to improve herself.
She added that her family is very interested in the quality of teaching, which is also the reason why she chose to study here. I believe that with the support of teachers, I will have a meaningful seniority journey - Kieu Ngan expressed.
