Accordingly, the Diplomatic Academy enrolls students in 4 ways, specifically:
- Method 1: Direct admission and priority admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- Method 2: Combined admission based on high school academic results and international certificates/international competency standardization test.
- Method 3: Combined admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam and international certificate/international competency standardization exam.
- Method 4: Admission based on the results of the 2025 graduation exam.
Thus, in the school year, this school will add an additional admission method combining graduation exam scores and international certificates. However, the school has abandoned the interview method compared to last year.
With method 2 (based on combining academic records and international certificates), the school requires candidates to have an average of 6,0 or higher combined academic results and have one of the international certificates with the prescribed scores.
The international certificate/international competency standardization test score is applied similarly to method 3. However, the Academy noted that certificates not on the list will be considered and decided by the Admissions Council. The Academy does not accept certificates with the form of "home edition" exams.

Regarding the admission combination, this year the Academy added 4 more methods: D09, D10, D14 and D15. The total number of admission combinations of the school is 12 combinations.
The school's admission quota for majors has not changed much compared to last year.

Regarding the scoring formula, in methods 2 and 3, admission scores are calculated according to the following formula:

The Academy informed that priority points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training include priority points by subject and regional priority points. The regional priority policy only applies to candidates graduating from high school in 2024 and 2025.
The maximum encouraged score according to the Academy's regulations is 0.8 points. The total admission score does not exceed 30 points.
