In 2026, the University of Economics (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) does not use high school academic results (backbook) in domestic full-time university admissions.
The school enrolls in 6 training majors with 3,000 quotas, maintaining stability compared to 2025.
The school plans to use 5 admission combinations for all domestic formal training majors including D01 (Math, Literature, English), C01 (Math, Literature, Physics), C04 (Math, Literature, Geography), C03 (Math, Literature, History), X01 (Math, Literature, Economic and Legal Education) and 9 combinations with foreign joint training programs including A01 (Math, Physics, English); D01 (Math, Literature, English); D09 (Math, History, English); D10 (Math, Geography, English); C01 (Math, Literature, Physics); C03 (Math, Literature, History); C04 (Math, Literature, Geography); X01 (Math, Literature, Economic and Legal Education); D08 (Math, Biology, English).
For domestic enrollment, the school uses 3 main admission methods as follows:
- Admission method using the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam (including International English certificate admission combined with the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam).
- Admission based on the results of the high school student competency assessment exam organized by Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
- Direct admission according to the Enrollment Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
For candidates with international certificates SAT, ACT, A-Level and candidates who win prizes in excellent student exams/science and technology exams, bonus points are added to the enrollment method for the 2026 high school graduation exam results.
For joint training enrollment with foreign countries, the school uses the following admission methods:
- Admission consideration combined with high school academic results and international English certificates.
- Considering high school academic results.
- SAT, ACT, A-LEVEL international certificate admission
- Considering the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam.
- Admission based on the results of the high school student competency assessment exam organized by Vietnam National University, Hanoi (HSA).
- Admission consideration for high school graduates abroad.
28. Hoa Sen University
The admission method for 2026 of Hoa Sen University is as follows:
- Considering the results of the 2026 High School Graduation Exam;
- Considering the results of the competency assessment exam of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam National University Hanoi;
-Consider high school transcripts according to combined scores of 3 subjects, average score of 3 semesters;
-Review of the V-SAT exam
