Enrollment 2026: More schools consider admission based on high school transcripts

In the 2026 enrollment season, Bac Lieu University continues to apply the form of admission based on high school transcripts.

For the method of considering high school academic results (academic records):

- Admission based on academic results (average subject score) of 06 semesters (1st semester and 2nd semester of grades 10, 11 and 12) of 03 subjects according to the corresponding admission combination.

- Input assurance threshold:

+ University training programs (except for teacher training programs): High school graduation and total score of 03 subjects according to admission combinations reaching the input threshold converted to the score difference between methods and admission combinations according to regulations (including priority points by region and policy beneficiaries).

+ University-level teacher training programs: High school graduation: The average academic results for the whole year of grade 12 are assessed as good (academic ability is ranked from excellent or higher) and the total score of 03 high school graduation exam subjects according to the admission combination reaches 18.00 points or higher or the high school graduation consideration score from 8.50 or higher; the total score of 03 subjects according to the admission combination reaches the input threshold converted to the score difference between methods and admission combinations according to regulations (including priority points by region and policy beneficiaries).

For the method of combining high school academic results with aptitude test scores for admission consideration:

- Input assurance threshold:

+ High school graduation; average general academic results for the whole year of grade 12 are assessed as good (academic ability is ranked from good or higher) and the total score of 03 high school graduation exam subjects according to the admission combination reaches 16.50 points or higher or the high school graduation consideration score is from 6.50 or higher

+ Total scores of 03 subjects according to admission combinations reach the input threshold converted to the score difference between methods and admission combinations according to regulations (including priority points by region and policy beneficiaries)

+ The aptitude test score must reach 5.00 points (according to the 10-point scale) or higher.

High school academic results are also used by Gia Dinh University in the 2026 enrollment season.

In this method, candidates can participate in admission by considering the general average score of academic results of 06 semesters (from grades 10, 11 to the end of grade 12) of the admission subjects according to combinations.

The condition for a valid admission application is the total average score of 03 subjects calculated according to the formula:

[(Total score of 03 subjects HK1 grade 10 + Total score of 03 subjects HK2 grade 10) + (Total score of 03 subjects HK1 grade 11 + Total score of 03 subjects HK2 grade 11) + (Total score of 03 subjects HK1 grade 12 + Total score of 03 subjects HK2 grade 12)] / 6 ≥ 15 points.

The school notes that for candidates taking the graduation exam from 2026, the conditions for applying this method require you to have a total score of 03 high school graduation exam subjects reaching 15 points (admission score calculated on a 30-point scale).

At Hong Duc University, the school also applies the form of considering high school transcript scores in the 2026 enrollment period. However, the school only considers admissions for non-pedagogical training majors.

In which, candidates graduating from high school and meeting the conditions:

- The total average score of 3 subjects belonging to the admission subject combination of 3 school years (10th grade, 11th grade and 12th grade) in high school is converted to the original method (Considering the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam) reaching the input quality assurance threshold of the original combination for each major determined and announced by the Admissions Council.
