Aptitude assessment exam, violations and disciplinary levels
The 2026 competency assessment exam of Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City clearly stipulates the levels of handling violations, from reprimand, warning to suspension and annulment of exam results. Phase 1 took place on April 5 with more than 137,000 candidates, the results were used by 112 universities and colleges for admission consideration.

Minor violations such as reviewing papers, exchanging papers for the first time will be reprimanded and deducted 25% points. If re-offending or more serious violations such as copying papers, exchanging documents will be warned and deducted 50% points. Severe violations such as carrying prohibited items, taking out questions, receiving solutions from outside or causing trouble will be suspended from the exam, receiving a score of 0 and not being allowed to use the admission results.

At Hoa Lu Kindergarten (Saigon ward, Ho Chi Minh City), a teacher and a nanny were disciplined after parents reflected that a 4-year-old child had bruises on his cheeks. Through working, teachers and caregivers both admitted to having improper behavior towards children during care.

The school has suspended two individuals from directly caring for and educating children from March 23 to May 31, 2026 and switched to performing indirect duties.
