Sharing with reporters during the preparation for the 73rd Miss World, Miss Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc said that she entered the world beauty pageant with both pride and concern. The representative of Vietnam at Miss World 2026 clearly stated that she is not only looking forward to the result, but also wants the journey on this stage to be truly meaningful to herself and the domestic audience.
Bao Ngoc expressed that what moved her the most was continuing the impressions that the Vietnamese representatives had recorded at Miss World. I am very proud of the achievements of the Vietnamese representatives at Miss World before, I am very lucky to have continued that heritage, she said.
Speaking to reporters, Bao Ngoc gave compliments to Huynh Tran Y Nhi - Vietnam's representative at Miss World 2025.
Talking about her orientation at Miss World 2026, Bao Ngoc said she set two clear goals for herself. "The first goal is to always give my all to aim for the highest possible position. The second goal is to enjoy this journey. I don't know what the final result will be, but I want when I look back, I have to be proud and the Vietnamese people are also proud of Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc's journey," she shared.
For the 24-year-old beauty, "enjoying the journey" does not mean being lenient with herself or accepting to stop at any position. She emphasized that the meaning here is that every day participating in Miss World must be a day of learning, growing up, spreading positive values. If those efforts were seen and recognized by everyone, it would be a great happiness for me, Bao Ngoc said.
However, the beauty affirmed that she did not allow herself to be subjective. I try my best not to disappoint the audiences trust, and will do everything I can to turn myself into the most brilliant flower that the world cannot refuse, she said.
Bao Ngoc's luggage before coming to Miss World is considered outstanding. Born in 2001 in Can Tho, she is 1.86m tall, was in the Top 22 of Miss Vietnam 2020, won the 1st Runner-up title of Miss World Vietnam 2022 and was crowned Miss Intercontinental 2022 in Egypt, becoming the first Vietnamese beauty to win this arena. She is called "knowledge queen" by the audience thanks to her academic achievements and good English proficiency.
In the field of education, Bao Ngoc graduated from the Business Administration major, international joint program of the International University - Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, and was considered an excellent graduate. She holds an IELTS 8.0 certificate, and has received many scholarships such as SEED funded by the Government of Canada, scholarships from the University of New South Wales (Australia), programs for young leaders in Singapore, etc. In addition, there are scientific research activities and community projects on environment, sustainable development, and youth volunteering.
On that platform, Bao Ngoc being announced by the copyright holder of Miss World in Vietnam as the representative at the 73rd Miss World created a great consensus among fans. She is expected to be in line with the spirit of "Beauty for noble purposes" that the contest pursues when possessing both education, foreign languages, international experience and substantial social activities.
