Drones are drones used in military and non-military applications and are controlled through a controller or a wireless control center. Nowadays, Drone is widely applied in the fields of cinema and media, in cases of use for filming, taking high-altitude photos of events (Flycams), landscapes (films "Canh Dong Bat Tanh"), etc.
This is a new and bold provision. Remember at the 6th Ho Chi Minh City Regional Art Photo Festival (July 2016), the first and second prizes for flycam photos were awarded, which caused controversy among professional photographers about the artistic nature of flycam photos.
However, according to the Organizing Committee, the choice of photos to submit to the contest depends on the contestants, as long as they are beautiful, have meaning and message, and meet the criteria set by the Jury, not distinguishing between taking photos with a camera or Drone. Photo Marathon is the fast photo composition contest that attracts the most contestants ( Thousands of contestants) in Vietnam today. The total prize value of this year's contest has increased to 1.4 billion VND.
The winner of this year's tournament in Vietnam will be sponsored and given a special chance to compete at Canon PhotoMarathon Asia Championship 2018, competing with 16 other opponents with the opportunity to be honored throughout Asia and win an additional prize of up to 5,000 USD.
