On October 19, the group introduced a powerful hip-hop song with a message of the spirit of "changing the game, shaking the world and reaching the top". The music video We go up, released on October 10, was compared by fans as "a blockbuster action film" and quickly topped the list of "Most Viewed Video in 24 Hours" as well as " Global Trending" on YouTube.
YG Entertainment said that Baby Monster's second mini album - We go up also reached No. 1 on the Oricon Daily Album Chart (Japan) on the day of release on October 11.
The members revealed that to make the MV, they attended martial arts classes. Ahyeon learned parkour, Chiquita practiced martial arts, while Ruka and Asa practiced rope flying skills (wire action). Ruka was originally afraid of height, surprising the whole crew when dancing from the second floor in a scene. Its not easy, but when I look back, the results are very good, so Im very satisfied, Ahyeon shared.
Before returning with We go up, Baby Monster completed their first world tour in their career, meeting more than 300,000 fans in 20 cities, including Seoul, New York, Los Angeles and Bangkok.
