The audience argued about this statement. Some people said that not all success comes from studying thoroughly; others objected because studying is the foundation, helping to have the mindset to behave later, and be more convenient at work...
From the young rapper's noisy story, I thought about myself. I graduated 5 years ago. With a university degree, I applied for a job at a company that I loved. Over the past few years, I have been satisfied because thanks to my studies, I have a stable job or at least it has helped me "change my life" with a better income.
I once talked to my best friend, because of her family situation, she dropped out of college and now runs a grocery store to make ends meet. She said that if she had time, she would still choose to go back to school because dropping out of school limited her thinking, and now she is not confident in communicating and behaving with people around her.
Recently, the audience shared the story of a content creator with millions of followers. This person also shared his story, saying that he was shallow when he dropped out of college to pursue online sales and make money, but when faced with reality: relationships, communication, behavior... he admitted that he was not good at it, and was even labeled as "unqualified".
From my own practical experiences and those of the people I have met, I have found that learning thoroughly is never redundant. Because learning may not help in your current job, but it helps you have a mindset, personality and communication with the world around you.
And of course, it is never too late to learn. We may leave our studies unfinished when we are young, but we can still learn more, learn in parallel with our current job later to gain more knowledge for our journey.
