These days, Youth Theater facility 2 (Nam Trung Yen urban area) is gradually completing the final items. The project is invested by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, built with a scale of 3 basements (total area of 7, 177 m2) and 5 above-ground floors (9,615 m2), with a total investment of phase 1 of about 159 billion VND.
According to the design, when put into operation, the theater is expected to have about 1,032 seats, serving a variety of art forms such as drama, singing, dancing, music, and is fully equipped with rehearsal spaces, auxiliary areas, services and operations.
The overall design of the project has a modern, dynamic style, suitable for the orientation of serving young audiences - the target group that the theater aims for.


According to PV's records, from the outside, the project stands out with the main green color, created by a system of vertical columns arranged in succession. Dotted with red, yellow, and orange stripes running along the house body, creating an impressive visual effect, contributing to highlighting the youthful and modern look of the project.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai (a resident selling goods near the Youth Theater facility 2 area) said that the project has a very special design, very eye-catching colors, creating a prominent highlight that makes many people pay attention when passing through this area.
For Ms. Mai and many other people, everyone expects Youth Theater facility 2 to be completed soon so that art lovers have more space to enjoy.


It is known that Youth Theater facility 1 is located at No. 11 Ngo Thi Nham street, Hai Ba Trung ward. The Theater was established in 1978, is the only National Art Theater in Vietnam with the function of performing for Children and Young Audiences.
On its artistic creative journey, the Vietnam Youth Theater has created strong imprints, making positive contributions to the face of Vietnamese stage art with many large works, this is also a place of maturity for many generations of famous artists who are widely loved by the public.
Considered one of the most dynamic and creative theaters in Vietnam, the Vietnam Youth Theater has a long history of cooperation with international cultural organizations, art troupes and foreign theaters, becoming a bridge for cultural exchange activities, strengthening understanding and friendly relations between Vietnam and the world.
Today, the Vietnam Youth Theater is also a familiar address for teenagers to experience unique, youthful, and modern international art programs. Although there is no official information about when the 2nd base theater will be put into operation, people living around expect the project to soon become a new entertainment destination of the Capital.
