According to musician Le Chi Trung, the work "Moi tinh bat anh danh" was composed by the musician and signed an exclusive sales contract with TTV Media Company for a period of 5 years, starting from September 1, 2023.
In mid-September 2023, the audio and MV "nameless Love" were officially released on many music platforms through the presentation of singer Dinh Nguyen - an artist under the management of TTV Company.
To contribute to the song's spread, TTV and musician Le Chi Trung have collaborated with many artists to cover this song and posted a link to this song exclusively on the YouTube platform.
However, on August 6, 2024, TTV company as well as musician Le Chi Trung issued a notice to many artists and units that had collaborated on "stop licensing" the performance of the song "Moi tinh bat danh" on stages and programs with commercial elements.
TTV representative affirmed: After agreeing to let the artists use the song Moi tinh bat non danh for nearly a year to perform, TTV company has a plan to develop this song commercially for singer Dinh Nguyen. Therefore, we have continuously issued many notices to units and singers who have agreed to use the song. We acknowledge and express our deep gratitude to the artists who have accompanied and helped bring the song more widely to the public.
However, artist Quoc Thien is the only case who has to be reminded many times in different forms, and he still uses performing on many domestic and foreign stages....
At the sharing session on the afternoon of June 10, TTV presented evidence confirming that musician Le Chi Trung had proactively contacted Quoc Thien 3 times, reminding the male singer to "stop using" the song when there was a notice from the exclusive purchaser of the song.
The TV station also released evidence that Quoc Thien still quietly performed the song "Moi tinh bat danh" on many stages.
TTV representative affirmed: "At first, we wanted to resolve it gently and peacefully. We proactively asked musician Le Chi Trung to connect, hoped to meet, and hoped Quoc Thien would stop using the song "Moi tinh bat danh" so that our company could focus on developing strongly for this project in the future. However, the male singer refused and continued to use the song. We forced him to handle it strongly.
After that, we saw a clip of Quoc Thien sharing with our audience at a show about stopping performing the song "nameless Love". The things Quoc Thien shared were not enough for the audience to clearly assess the true or false of this issue. Many mixed comments, attacks on TV and Dinh Nguyen's side also appeared more after the clip shared by Quoc Thien".
TTV Company said that it has completed the documents, drawn up a document and sued singer Quoc Thien for copyright infringement in music with the work "Unnamed Love". The file was submitted by singer Dinh Nguyen's management company to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Court on April 29, 2024.
In the lawsuit, singer Dinh Nguyen's side made the following requests: Hopefully singer Quoc Thien will stop violating copyright by removing the recordings of the performance of the song "Moi tinh phai non danh" posted on the TikTok platform; Buoc Quoc Thien apologized, corrected for the violation of copyright and compensated the song's owner.
Currently, Quoc Thien has not responded to this incident.
