On February 14, leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports said that they are urgently completing the organization of the spring flower street festival and Binh Ngo Tet book street 2026 at the park on Le Loi street, Binh Duong ward, Ho Chi Minh City. All preparations have been relatively completed, and can serve people to have fun and visit from February 15 (December 28th of the lunar calendar) to February 22 (January 6th of Tet).
According to the leader of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports, the program will have many rich activities, promising to become an attractive spring travel destination for people and workers in the first days of the new year.
The book street in Binh Duong ward is highlighted by an exhibition of publications, documents and images introducing Ho Chi Minh cultural space; propaganda to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 – January 6, 2026); and at the same time towards the election of National Assembly deputies of the XVI term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 – 2031 term.
In addition, the festival also introduces outstanding achievements in economy, culture, and politics of Ho Chi Minh City after the merger with the message "Ho Chi Minh City - a livable city".
Here, there are also many experiential activities for children and families such as folk games, calligraphy street for calligraphy, spring lucky money book program, Tet photo corner,... contributing to creating a joyful and friendly atmosphere for all ages.
Notably, the above activities are organized in combination with the spring flower street of Binh Duong ward implemented by the People's Committee of Binh Duong ward. The spring flower street takes the main idea of "The Era of Rising" with decorative models such as: "Saint Giong pulls bamboo to fight invaders", "Ma dao thanh cong", "Prosperity Spring" and a colorful flower street.
