Following the success of the 2 Ninh Binh Festivals in 2022 and 2023, this year Ninh Binh province organizes the 3rd Ninh Binh Festival with the theme "Heritage Flow" with many special activities.
Speaking at the Festival Opening Ceremony, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, Mr. Le Hoai Trung - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Commission for External Relations praised and congratulated the achievements that the Party Committee, Government and people of Ninh Binh province have achieved in the past time.
At the same time, it affirmed that over the past years, the Party Committee, Government and people of Ninh Binh province have inherited and promoted the good traditions, with the will and aspiration to rise up, unite, be creative, promote potentials and advantages, overcome many difficulties and challenges, and achieved important and comprehensive achievements in all fields, especially many important results in socio-economic development.
Head of the Central Commission for External Relations Le Hoai Trung also affirmed that the provincial planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, was approved by the Prime Minister, in which the development perspective of Ninh Binh province is determined to be "green, sustainable and harmonious"; "taking tourism and cultural industry as the spearhead". That shows that the province's vision is supported by the Central Government in promoting the role of culture in serving socio-economic development, contributing to the overall development of the country.
As a region with a unique culture, making many contributions to the diverse picture of national culture, in recent years, Ninh Binh province has actively researched, identified, clarified and implemented synchronous solutions to preserve and promote the value of cultural heritage, which has been recognized and highly appreciated by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
Including building the brand and innovating the way of organizing the Festival every year to spread the values of heritage and traditional cultural values, making cultural heritage a real resource for socio-economic development, one of the outstanding activities, effective and with high brand value.
With the recent efforts, Head of the Central Commission for External Relations Le Hoai Trung believes that the Party Committee, Government and people of Ninh Binh province will continue to uphold the spirit of solidarity, aspiration, maximize the potential, unique values and advantages of the ancient capital to build Ninh Binh into a centrally-governed city with the characteristics of a millennium heritage city, a creative city, a large center, with high brand value in tourism, cultural industry, heritage economy; ready to enter a new era with the whole country - the era of national growth.
