On January 21, Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee said that it had planned to organize large-scale activities and events to celebrate the Party and Binh Ngo Spring 2026. At the same time, creating an atmosphere of excitement to successfully implement the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 1st Gia Lai Provincial Party Congress.
Opening the series of activities is the event of displaying the Binh Ngo 2026 mascot cluster, displaying photos celebrating Spring and decorating the campus of the Nguyen Sinh Sac - Nguyen Tat Thanh Monument (Quy Nhon ward) and the Dai Doan Ket Square area (Pleiku ward), creating landscape highlights and Spring fun spaces for people.
The above activities were inaugurated from February 9th and last until March 8th (from December 22nd of the year of At Ty to January 20th of the year of Binh Ngo).
On New Year's Eve of Binh Ngo Spring 2026, an art program to celebrate the Party and celebrate Spring will take place, broadcast live through the television bridge between Quy Nhon and Pleiku bridge points, from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM on February 16.
Right at 0:00 on February 17, at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square and Dai Doan Ket Square, a low-altitude fireworks display will be performed to welcome the new year Binh Ngo 2026.
In addition, many other cultural and social activities are also organized such as the Binh Ngo Spring Newspaper Festival 2026, taking place from February 9 to 12, at the Gia Lai Provincial Conference Center (Quy Nhon ward) and Dai Doan Ket Square (Pleiku ward); scientific experience activities at the Center for Scientific Exploration and Innovation; Binh Dinh Martial Arts Night celebrating Binh Ngo Spring 2026; Nguyen Tieu Poetry Festival and many cultural and sports programs serving people to celebrate Spring and welcome Tet.
Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with An Khe Ward People's Committee to organize the 255th Anniversary of the Tay Son Farmers' Uprising (1771-2026) and the 237th Anniversary of the Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da Victory (1789-2026).
2026 is the first year to organize commemorative activities after merging the old Gia Lai province and the old Binh Dinh province into the new Gia Lai province. The province requires the organization to ensure innovation, unity, and commensurate with the meaning and historical stature at the Tay Son Thuong Dao (An Khe ward) and Tay Son Ha Dao (Tay Son commune) locations.
