Hanoi Culture and Library Center (Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports) has just sent a document to the Culture - Information and Sports Centers of communes and wards on organizing free mobile film screenings to serve the people of the Capital.
This content is implemented under the direction of the City Party Committee and Hanoi City People's Committee on organizing activities to celebrate major holidays, important historical and political events of the country and the Capital in 2026, especially to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress and the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026–2031 term, and based on Plan No. 44/KH-SVHTT dated January 22, 2026 of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports on organizing film and film screening activities to serve the political tasks of 2026.
The Hanoi Center for Culture and Library organizes free mobile film screenings to serve departments, branches, unions, students of universities, colleges, high schools, secondary schools... and people in communes and wards in Hanoi.
Mobile film screening activities are organized regularly weekly, monthly, or on anniversaries of major holidays, historical and political events of the Capital and the country based on actual needs at the grassroots level.
Film genres include feature films, documentaries, reports, animated films, entertainment films. Film sources are the Department of Cinema for distribution and dissemination, Film Documentary Institute, People's Army Cinema, film archives...
To help people enjoy cinematic works imbued with deep artistic and humanistic values, contributing to enriching spiritual and cultural life, meeting the cultural enjoyment needs of the people of the Capital, the Hanoi Cultural and Library Center proposes that the Culture - Information and Sports Centers of communes and wards, based on the actual needs in the locality, register with the Center to organize implementation.
