Da Nang is implementing infrastructure upgrades, product diversification, improving service quality as well as preparing attractive stimulus programs to aim for impressive tourism growth, affirming its position as a leading regional and international destination.

Upgrading and perfecting the travel experience

Da Nang sets an ambitious target, welcoming more than 11.9 million overnight guests in 2025, an increase of 10% compared to 2024. Tourism revenue is expected to reach more than VND36,000 billion, up 16%. To realize this goal, the city is focusing on investing in upgrading infrastructure, diversifying products and improving the quality of tourism services.

In particular, traditional markets such as Han Market and Con Market - familiar destinations for tourists - are being improved in space and services, bringing a more comfortable and attractive shopping experience. Not only stopping at markets, Da Nang also focuses on developing other types of tourism by promoting the exploitation of waterway tourism potential, expanding inland waterways, opening routes to Hai Van Bay and Son Tra Peninsula, promising to bring new experiences to tourists. Tours are designed flexibly and diversely, suitable for the needs and preferences of each group of tourists, from city exploration tours, cultural experience to eco-tourism tours.

The Da Nang Department of Tourism has also announced Miss International 2024 Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy as the city's 2025-2026 Tourism Ambassador. In 2025, Miss Thanh Thuy will attend outstanding events to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the city's liberation, contributing to creating unforgettable impressions in the hearts of tourists and the local community.

stimulating tourism

In addition to upgrading infrastructure and services, Da Nang is strongly implementing tourism stimulus programs, attracting domestic and international tourists. In early March, the Da Nang Department of Tourism announced the Da Nang Tourism Incentive Program for 2025 with a series of new events, products, and services along with attractive incentive packages.

The two key programs implemented are "Fine of Da Nang - Multi experience" and "I love Da Nang". The program "enjoy Da Nang - Multi experience" is aimed at all tourists with attractive service and gift incentives. The program "I love Da Nang" is danhated to international tourists who have been to Da Nang since 2020, as a gratitude and an invitation to return to explore the city.

Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, emphasized: The units participating in the stimulus program have committed to ensuring the quality of services and the best incentives for tourists. We will closely coordinate with relevant agencies to inspect, monitor, and promptly handle feedback and recommendations, ensuring the rights of tourists when participating in the program.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh, Director of the Vietnam Tourism Administration, highly appreciated Da Nang's dynamism and creativity in developing diverse tourism products, from beach resort tourism, eco-tourism, cultural tourism to MICE tourism. He recommended that the city should take advantage of every opportunity, overcome challenges, develop sustainable tourism, and contribute to promoting the local economy. At the same time, Da Nang needs to have preferential policies on prices and services, increase experiences for tourists, research and open more direct flights, and charter flights to potential markets.

With these comprehensive efforts, Da Nang is confident in aiming to welcome 22-23 million international visitors and 120-130 million domestic visitors in 2025, establishing its position as one of the most vibrant and attractive tourist centers in Vietnam.
