According to Box Office Vietnam box office data updated to the afternoon of July 16, director Bui Van Hai's "Quỷ bắt hồn" continues to maintain its appeal at cinemas.
As of now, the work has achieved a total revenue of more than 25 billion VND. On July 16 alone, the film earned more than 350 million VND with 4,443 screenings, showing that ticket sales are still maintained even though it has been in theaters for a while.
This is a positive sign for Vietnamese horror films, which have been receiving attention from audiences in recent years.
However, this project also faced many major controversies, in which the film's content was criticized for being illogical.
The film is directed by Bui Van Hai with a duration of 103 minutes, exploiting mysterious phenomena and stories surrounding father-son love.
In another development, "Running Man Vietnam 2026 - God of Time" starring Tran Thanh continues to record positive revenue from screenings.
According to statistics, the film version of the reality TV show achieved more than 8.1 billion VND in revenue. On July 16, the work earned more than 300 million VND, showing that the attraction from the fan community is still maintained.
Unlike a regular movie version, "Running Man Vietnam 2026 - God of Time" is mainly released in the form of special screenings combined with giao lưu activities and watching the first episode with fans. Therefore, the current revenue level is considered positive for an event-oriented project.
Previously, the producer had recorded many full screenings in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi when the program organized watch parties, gathering a large audience and a cast of artists.
