In recent days, a group of 45 artists from Russian State Ballet have been present in Hanoi to prepare for two nights of "Sister Hoang Nga" at the Ho Guom Theater, towards the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

In his first time performing in Vietnam, Mr. Vyacheslav Gordeev shortened some unnecessary parts, connecting the main segments to create a complete but neat version, about 2 hours long instead of 3-5 hours as before.
The Russian ballet legend shared that streamlining the performance poses many challenges for actors, as they have to change their outfits faster and have less time to rest. However, this change helps audiences have a more seamless and engaging experience.
Present at the rehearsal at Ho Guom Theater, dancer Tatsenko Alyona was nervous and worried about meeting Vietnamese audiences. Thanks to ballet, I had the opportunity to exchange cultures with other countries and learn more about Vietnamese culture during the rehearsal for the performance. I have practiced hard and look forward to meeting the Vietnamese audience, the actor confided to Lao Dong reporter.
