The exhibition aims to honor a traditional material that has gone along with the history of shaping Vietnam and introduce to the public the beauty of the homeland and country through 44 selected works. These works are recognized as having high artistic value, reflecting many stages of construction and development of the country, and at the same time showing the efforts to arouse the creativity of the artist team in the context of contemporary fine arts seeking to both inherit and innovate.
The exhibition brings together many generations of artists, from big names that have contributed to shaping Vietnamese fine arts to contemporary authors who are continuing to expand the expressive ability of traditional techniques. It can be seen that many works by famous authors such as "Pho trang Hoa Binh" by artist Nguyen Van Binh, "Uncle Ho with children" by Nguyen Nghia Duyen, " Ai Chi Lang" by Le Quoc Loc, "After working hours" by Lo An Quang, "Duong den Hang Pac Bo" by Tran Dinh Tho or "Thuyen Ha Long" by Nguyen Van Ty. In addition, there are works by current authors such as "Vietnamese Bamboo" by Pham Hoang Van, "Court Road" by Nguyen Phuc Loi, "Green Moon" by Nguyen Truong Linh, "Ring of the Central Highlands" by Tran Tuan Long or "Em Xoan" by Bui Huu Hung.

With lacquer paintings placed in the context of celebrating a major political event, the exhibition shows that traditional art continues to play a role in connecting memories, identity and the spirit of the times. There, each work is not only a personal achievement of the artist but also a piece of the broader story of Vietnamese culture in the development journey.
