According to Odd Atelier Entertainment on January 22, Jennie (Blackpink)'s debut studio album "Ruby" will be released on March 7, 2025.
The album has a total of 15 songs, with a variety of musical genres, including the single “Mantra” which was pre-released last October.
Notably, there will be 6 international artists featured in Jennie's album, including Childish Gambino, Doechii, Dominic Fike, Dua Lipa, FKJ and Kali Uchis.
On her official YouTube channel, Jennie posted the first trailer for her album “Ruby”. In it, the female singer revealed many impressive images, most notably the image of a girl with bright red hair.
Previously, in an interview with Billboard, Jennie said that she started her journey to make a solo album in early 2024, and the album was 99% produced in Los Angeles (USA).
“Mantra” is the lead single from the album “Ruby” released in October 2024. The song topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in 47 countries and regions, including the US, Brazil, Singapore, Philippines, Mexico…
“Mantra” also charted on the US Billboard Hot 100 for two consecutive weeks, and became the first female K-pop solo artist to reach No. 1 on the US iTunes Top Songs chart.
